- Choosing the Right Location: The Starlink antenna needs a clear view of the sky to operate effectively. It’s important to install it in a location where it won’t be obstructed by trees, buildings, or other structures. The Starlink app can help you find the best installation spot.
- Setting Up the Mount: The Starlink Kit includes a mounting tripod, but other mounting options like roof mounts or pole mounts are available for purchase. The mount needs to be secure and stable to hold the antenna.
- Installing the Antenna: Once the mount is set up, the Starlink antenna can be attached. It should be oriented with the broader side facing upwards.
- Connecting the Cables: The antenna comes with a cable that needs to be connected to the power supply. The power supply also has a port for an ethernet cable that connects to the modem.
